Worker Fatality After Fall at Sydney Construction Site

A 55 year old male worker died this just after 8am today after falling at a construction site in Mortdale in the south of Sydney. The man was working as a builder at the site and he reportedly died at the scene after a fall of 4 to 5 metres.

A witness from the building next door has said that he saw some men working on the top of the building under construction prior to hearing the sirens.

WorkCover NSW was notified and the police will be preparing a report for the coroner.
