QLD: Man Dies Driving Front End Loader

Workplace Health and Safety is investigating the death of worker killed in a quarry accident at Talgai on Saturday.

The 25-year-old man was driving a front-end loader and had dropped a bucket of sand in a crushing machine when he got out to check it.

“It looks like the 25-year-old man had fallen in and died on the scene. He was found by the owner of the business,” Det Sgt Tamblyn said.

The man lived on the property.
