NSW: Tree Cutter Killed by Falling Tree

WorkCover is investigating the death of a tree lopper who was killed by a falling tree on the state’s north coast yesterday.

The 24-year-old man was cutting down trees on a private property at Gleniffer, north of Bellingen, when one fell on him. He died at the scene.

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command responded to the incident and secured a crime scene.

A brief of evidence will be prepared by police for the information of the NSW Coroner.
