Crushing Fatality at Port of Brisbane

A man working at the Port of Brisbane died today when he was crushed when he was transporting goods.

According to police he was moving a load from a barge onto a ship when a type of large bucket fell onto him at about 2.30 this afternoon

He was treated on site by emergency workers but died on the way to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The police and Workplace Health and Safety will investigate the incident.
