Chemical Leak Affects Workers

An east Brisbane oil refinery was evacuated following a reported chemical leak that injured four workers.

Emergency crews attended the site near the Port of Brisbane just after 7pm on Tuesday in response to the leak and reports that a vapour cloud hade been released and soon had the situation under control.

The details of the type of chemical spilled have not been released.
